WELCOME TO THE FSSNOC CLUB SCRAPBOOK! (recent
update... 2011/2012)
For more than twenty-five
years now, we here at the Four-Stroke Singles National Owners Club
have been holding events that encourage members to get to know one
another... Nowdays, we call these gatherings "ThumperCafes".
This particular section of our website will give you just a hint of
what all one can enjoy at a ThumperCafe. In this example, we
were in Wyoming ... Lander, Wyoming ... to be exact.
The year was 2003.
The faces haven't changed too much, maybe a few more wrinkles and a
bit more gray in the hair. The names haven't changed much either,
though we do draw more folks these days... The Thumpers?
Some members are still thumpin' on that ole dependable motorbike
that they had when they joined FSSNOC, others have the very latest
and greatest from the showrooms of the modern world.
Enjoy these few pictures.
Then consider this... today is the first day of the rest of
your (and my...) life. Wouldn't it be fun to get out there and
make some memories (and some photos) for yourself? Just maybe
... get yourself a Thumper and buy that camera (did you know that
they don't even need film anymore???). Make plans now to see
it for yourself, to smell that high mountain air, to feel that
Thumper as it pulls a long grade ... Get the "picture"?
I hope to see YOU up the
road and on a Thumper! Watch for me ... I'm
wearing a FSSNOC t-shirt - #000/Jack.

We stop for a world famous chocolate malt at
the Yellowstone Drug Store just a few miles
from Lander. 2000 malts a day?

Some typical Wyoming scenery. Awesome area!
Near the "Sinks".

We ride for Lunch on Thursday.

G-3 shows off his Enfield Military machine
and attire.

More bike show shots. See the puddle of rain water?

This is Tim Bernard's (Happy Trails) KLR650. Nice.

Check out the snow on the distant mountains. Beautiful.

A Colorado Norton awaits its trophy.

We make a side trip to show Carrie the
